One of the most valuable life lessons my mom has ever shared with me:
Be proud.
Be proud of what you have to offer to others and the world.
Be proud enough to walk away from any relationship - platonic, romantic, or otherwise - that isn’t giving you what deserve.
One way or another, it always comes back to this.
